"Building the Foundations" of The Green Gathering, is a meaningful way to organize marginalized communities with education about the environmental injustices that may or may not be apparent and creating a space for individuals to come and express their concerns about their communities. Environmental justice is connected to social justice, allowing affected communities to learn and engage on both sides to help implement solutions.
