Dealing with the environmental justice challenges of today requires problem-solvers who bring different perspectives and are willing to take risks. Sol Nation emerged out of a pursuit to inspire and support the community, and a desire for actions to speak louder than words. Established in 2017, we’re an organization driven by progressive ideas, bold actions, and a strong foundation of support. Sol Nation is the place where environmental justice and social justice intersect creating a new home for climate justice.
WHAT WE DO
Solutions.
What we do is organize around solutions to some of our greatest climate justice issues. Through education, workshops, panels, art, and culture we engage the communities that we work in on a level that creates change. We serve as translators of the issues that people of color and other marginalized communities deal with so that they have a better understanding of how they are directly impacted.
