From February 19-23, The Solutions Project hosted Black Climate Week, emphasizing climate justice solutions for a future with accessible clean energy, safe drinking water, affordable housing, nutritious food, and sustainable jobs. Sol Nation Inc participated by organizing a Community Clean Up in Charlotte, NC's Historic Westend to engage and educate the community on neighborhood care.

This eye-opening event highlighted the necessity for further efforts in this community, prompting the initiation of our monthly Community Clean Up and Canvas solution project. Along with collecting litter, we are collaborating with different community leaders to clear debris from water sources, cemeteries, and vacant properties, while also educating residents on methods to prevent unwanted waste by reaching out to the city and other resources. Sol Nation will serve as a liaison for waste removal and addressing any environmental concerns that residents may encounter.
